Meh. IMHO take the Walmart ONN for $228 when they run it again (it's a Hisense) and call it good for a year. This OP TV will be in the same 250ish range come next year.

I'm reasonably sure the Orange cones are well within SDR gamut. But Lamborghini orange certainly will look better with Wide Gamut. That said, I don't think this tv is worth this price, the TCL 625...

I never get Hisense myself unless it was for garage. TCL 625 is nice except for DSE which depends which models you get. The TV without Wide color gamut are dull compared to TV that have it. You...

Oh I understand that completely. I'm just saying you can have nearly three of the cheaper TVs for the same price. Buy cheap one now and wait a year and upgrade then when the next current 500 $60 TV...

Not worth to spend 500+ on hisense 65" when you are getting them for 250$

I've been using wide gamut since adobe-wide monitors, which actually has higher total color volume than the current DCIp3 panels. It's not the case that wide is always better. There is such a...

Looking at the Costco site, this has "Motion rate 240" as opposed to most cheaper TVs that have 60 native and "motion rate 120". Is this not 2x better for things like puck blur? That's why I was...

Is there a big difference Hisense - 65" Class H6510G Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV I know it was $250 but now it is $399 at BB

Not all Hisense TVs are the same. They have different models with different performance levels. This is true for all TV brands and is a very basic thing to understand.

I see what you're saying but I'd rather just pay more now and be able to use the same TV a few years, a TV that's better the whole time. Seems like that would save money in the long run. Also, TV...

This Costco price was mentioned in last month's Amazon deal post, but the Amazon deal has expired and the Costco price is still valid so I'm making a new post. Content below copied from original...

It is R8. It has wide color gamut. If you do not know what wide color gamut does, the orange pylons in football will look very real. But with non gamut, it will just be a plan orange color. If you...

You beat me to it. The H8/R8 is a good TV, even the 2019 models. The liquor is really flowing early this Thanksgiving with these trolls comparing it to a $250 TV Hisense wont even put their name on....
