You are correct. Happened to me recently Ended up returning pro and buying artisan :lol:
Ask your wife to watch youtube videos of both. That will save you the hassle of opening both assuming you have just one to return.

Women, if given a choice, will almost always prefer the Artisan over the Pro. men will prepfer the Pro (raw power of motor)/ Let's me know later if I am 100% correct.
You can get the one in the link below for about the same price with 10% coupon (look online). It is not as powerful but comparable to the KitchenAid Artisan series (4.5 quart vs the Artisan 5 quart)....

Each has its strengths. For size, counter space, practicality and convenience, the Macy's deal is better. For raw power, the one in this deal is better.
