Anyone on the fence, these are excellent. I had these and the lcdi4s. The cipher cable is nice for apply users but not required. You can get the same eq with their desktop app

air pods are not great for the price but also not the same thing if you want good pods get some galaxy buds these are open backed earbuds and have a cord.

I had the iSine 10s and those made my ears bleed as they lacked the bass and the sound lopsided towards being too bright. How these sound? Do they have some bass and hence a bit balanced sound?

I would take ER4XRs over iSine 20s without the cipher cable or reveal. Those cost significantly less right now. EQ is slightly different with reveal. Not to mention the obvious...

you are exactly right. I own these and without the cypher cable they are pretty bass lacking. I never tried a Balanced cable though.
