These are all good points and I am aware of the redundancy in the surround processing however there are other reasons to have the G6, mostly in the event the HP needs amping or the Orbit has trash...

I bought these from geekria on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TCP35OC/ They have leather and velvet versions and I like both. The leather (PU) adds more bass so changes sound a bit.
