We’ve got one of these controlling 5 rooms via alexa. Sprawling 1750sf single story house. Pretty great unit! I’ve had to re-pair a room once in the last 2ish years of ownership.

Im seeing a bunch of folks here that love this device. Unfortunately I have the opposite feedback regarding this. I connected 5 ceiling fans which paired through concrete walls ~1000sq ft. Sometimes...

I have one. It works well. I use it on both a ceiling fan and a gas fireplace insert. The insert took a bit of patience to program, but once I got it worked out, it works well. Have it set up with...

There is no rewiring. You place the bond somewhere and point the remote at the bond so that it can recognize the button commands (or remote id). It mimics the buttons and will blast it out to your...

433 RF in general is no 2 way. There are exceptions but most are not. The difference is probably that the Bond bridge had decrypted the specific remotes and acts as the brain/tracks the logic...

I have a ceiling fan whose "brain" is in the remote, and on any button press it sends full state (specific speed, direction, light, etc) insteaf of single command. BroadLink couldn't help with this...

You can program individual buttons in the app if the preconfigured one doesn't mirror your remote exactly. This has been the case since before they migrated to the new app. Sure it's a bit of work to...

This POS is garbage. I have it hooked to two ceiling fans/ lights. I bought it primarily to be voice activated by Amazon Alexa but the fan activation is not supported and the light activation works...

Got my Bond today and I just finished configuring 6 Lowes Harbor Breeze ceiling fans with lights in my 2100 sq ft house. The fan/lights remote has 1 button for on/off light and 4 buttons for fan...

Not sure if the model changed, the firmware did change recently but it worked fine before that firmware update also.

Not sure why people are hating on this thing. It fills a void and works as expected. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that it controls other things that come with a cheap sub-Ghz remote...

My hunter remote is 350mhz won’t work with my broad link, but there’s 933mhz remotes that will work, wish they would have added the 350mhz range, I have 2 different remotes that use it. You can go...

How would I connect multiple ceiling fans to this?
Post #143108564 added 11-29-2020 11:22 AM by OgreMustCrush in Deal Talk
Yeah, the trick is you get rid of the original remotes and only use ones that trigger the fan through the Bond instead. I use Lutron Picos ran through a Caseta Pro hub and Home Assistant to do that,...

You need to change the little switches inside the remote and fans so they are different.

I've had this for a couple years. Controls a fan in the room it's in and another in the room next to it. Works well. You use the app to set it up.

You'll need to switch the frequency of each fan. Under the cover of the fan there will be 4 dip switches. Change them to any order, and do the same inside the battery compartment of the remote. The...

Two advantages of buying this from Home Depot 1) return policy of 6 months (extended due to covid) 2) if you have a chase freedom card, pay with it using PayPal for additional 5% cash back.

yes, this is per fan, but you should be able to use your regular RF remote with this switch and you do not need to use the light switch part if your fan doesn't have it ( just cap the light cable)....

I bought mine at $80 and works fantastic. Great to get one device to control a lot of devices, single or all together.

I have it - has worked reliably as-advertised with Alexa for a Hampton Bay RF fan control. Very happy with it.

Sure. Just put the Bond in a more center location, for instance, on the floor in the upper level. Make sure you program each fan with a different channel on the remote.
Post #143058034 added 11-28-2020 12:25 PM by ckscorp in Deal Talk
Then you should program them differently while installing. There’s a DIP switch to change frequency so fans in close proximity don’t interfere with each other.

I bought this on release. I love it, use it for 5 room fan/lights. Only thing is I've been waiting since release for them to implement the garage door opener, but still waiting.

Do you post this on garage door opener, kasa and other smart switch, harmony remote, ecobee/nest deals? It's convenient, plus it's unifying concept is quite nice.
