I agree. Also, it is odd to me that the edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees. Such a low angle works best for the laminated steel blades with a harder core of 62-64 HRC. Softer steels with a low...

Zwilling knife handle looks cheap on pictures but it's made up of durable soft rubber type of material. I have one of these knives and the handle feels soft in the hand and lasted 15 years still...

That’s about right. Cleavers can’t have too high of HRC or else it will chip since it’s sometimes cutting through bone.

At least the Chinese do know how to make one of their Chinese all purpose cleaver knives well. They are also cheaper usually and better made than this. $20 should be the normal price.
