They don't hold a charge well, and their internal resistance builds up quickly which means they will die much sooner than a quality battery. I suspect their quality control is in the gutter too...

Laddas are made in Japan like Eneloops -- unlike these EBL ones which are made in China. Typically batteries made in Japan are notably better than those made in China.

Did you measure the capacity? It seems too good to be true. Few AAA has the capacity higher than 1000 mAh. Even black eneloop pro has only 950 mAh.

Was looking at just the charger thinking it may be useful. Nah, again better off spending more on a charger with a decent display. I'll keep the goofy no frills Eneloop charger I use as a backup.
