Nope, the RO can show the proper pressure, but it's inconsistent. I do appliance repair and work directly with the manufacturers. This is per tech support for each particular brand.

You will have the same issue you describe with tank systems. When you get water from the tank, the RO system will kick on and you will get "tds creep" into the tank. I also don't find it that bad. ...
