This is last year's chassis. It also doesn't support optimus so battery life will be trash

The CPU is crap on this. Similar raw perf to 4600h, but efficiency is trash. 14nm vs 7nm of ryzen. Battery is garbage on Intel basically.

Nope, the Best Buy one has a better 144hz display, faster 8 core Ryzen 7 there is also a second M2 open if you feel so inclined to upgrade more storage.

I might consider returning my Gateway for this if it's still available tomorrow.
The 1TB HDD, headset, and mouse are an extra discount when resold. Not sure if it's worth the hassle for a upgraded...

Yup and the ryzen ones are performing better. Best buy has the same config but 2020 model and ryzen 7 for $850. I would take that one over this any day for the extra $50.

No mention of the refresh rate of the display so assume it's 60Hz. 300-nit and 72% NTSC so good color reproduction.
