Did you redeem your HD Hobbit movies directly to iTunes? I did mine on Vudu, but with Movies Anywhere it they show up in iTunes too, but so far mine are just showing HD.

I agree, 4K isn't that impressive compared to the 3D experience. But that's not an option with LOTR, so 4K upgrade for that is great!
