I've had that happen purchasing discounted cards from sites. The orginal owners sell them to the site and they then drain the money out! The sites will give you your money back but I can't imagine...

I'm pretty sure this was argued on last year's DD deal but you do realize that 20% on is not the same as 20% off, it's only 16.67% discount. Free money is still free money though.

What is your total amount on your card? I think there is a limit. It might be $125, not 100% sur.? If so then if you have more than $115 it will not let you merge them.

Just add it to the DD app. Then you can simply merge it into the $50 card. No expiration at that point.
