Thanks, but you need to watch the timeline yourself, no way to scrub or seek motion etc with VLC. So I was hoping there was a way to use it in conjunction with something. Which NVR are you using?

I have 6 reolinks. 4 Argus, 410 and a Lumus. Their support is pretty good from my experience. They have replaced one of my reolink solar panel without hesitation. Email them again.

Just get a terminal box to mount it on, I have them mounted on my warehouse that way, I just screwed it onto a standard weatherproof double gang box from HD. Plenty of room for the connector that way.
