I tried the Amazon brand on these and while they work, you can definitely tell the difference. Not really sure if the “fake” ones are worth the cost savings.

This, and the bristles on the generic heads are usually a stiffer material which can be too aggressive on your enamel which weakens the whole tooth.

One thing I noticed between genuine and knockoffs toothbrush heads is that the 3-month wear marker doesn't wear off on the knockoffs.

Yup, avoid the german 'original' packages, almost a guaranteed fake. But thats what happens when you sell a brush head for $5, which would get you 12 genuine full size colgate/other brand...

Regular toothbrush bristles are rounded at the tip. Generics are cut flat with a blade. That sharp edge can damage gums.
