Not being a current quicken user....if I get the software and the 1 year subscription and after a year I don't renew can I still use the software but it won't do auto updates? Or does it stop working...

I got rid of all the ads by using Firefox with the Adblock Plus addon. No more ads since I blocked everything but my account info. I too got sick of the constant errors in Quicken and data file...

The import won't work either. And 30% of the interface space will be occupied by the advertisement. They will make sure you don't want to use it without the subscription.

I like Quicken for its projected forecasting. I helps me see the peaks and valleys and be able to find more savings in costs to put towards savings. I have yet to find a software that rivals that!
