I also considered using a 530 with the tweeter elevated to the same height as my 590s as the center. I have the 520c but have also been unhappy with it, even with multiple Aud-ex runs.

I own the Jbls 530, kef q150, and infinity R263. I prefer the infinity R263 then followed by the jbl 530s then followed by the KeFs Q150. Nonetheless these are all fantastic sounding speakers.
