There is no added benefit to the Xbox branded drives. They’re just slapping the brand on it to charge us extra. Virtually any sort of external drive will as storage.

You can't play ps5 games from it only ps4. But you can store ps5 games on it. You'd just have to transfer when you want to play them.

Huh? Crucial X8 2TB works just fine on my ps5 at 1000mb/sec.
Also I'm pretty sure you can plug any external hdd into the ps5 load speeds may suck though. Good for playing ps4 games on the ps5.
