personal experience with seagate and seagate brand in general. i have WD HD that are 15 years old still running, not the case with seagate HD or other products.

$15/TB is pretty good. What's even better is $45/TB for SSD.(one can dream, no?) :) I assume that it will happen within the next couple of years.

Nah it won't take that long. Silicon Motion is already shipping out new nvme controllers to make use of the new ssd's performances. I would say Q3-4 of this year.
