Not as an internal storage or for ps5 games. I believenyou can install ps4 games and run them, but ps5 games need an super fast ssd

There is no added benefit to the Xbox branded drives. They’re just slapping the brand on it to charge us extra. Virtually any sort of external drive will as storage.

You can't play ps5 games from it only ps4. But you can store ps5 games on it. You'd just have to transfer when you want to play them.

Huh? Crucial X8 2TB works just fine on my ps5 at 1000mb/sec. Also I'm pretty sure you can plug any external hdd into the ps5 load speeds may suck though. Good for playing ps4 games on the ps5.

I was talking about solely about PS5 games on external storage. Most hdds yes, will work well with PS4 games played on the 5, but actual PS5 games aren’t compatible
