FYI - Rubber flooring is very easy to cut with a straight edge and a box cutter (with fresh blade). I installed 500 sq ft of the stuff. I can see the multi-tool being good for awkward cuts though!

I don't believe that to be the case. It's a sealed Dewalt box, I think all come with the 1.5A battery. The only difference is that some of the product descriptions list it incorrectly as 2.0A
