My screw driver has higher voltage than this. Unless you’re just buying the frame and planing on tinker with the electronics and swap out some of the mechanical parts, don’t waste your money.

We just wired in an adapter from amazon to use 18v dewalt batteries on our old 6v kid trax mini cooper. Haven't gotten a kid on it yet but looking forward to doing some donuts til we blow the motor :D

Going 6v to 12v will be fine as long as you don't have traction. You don't want traction on these basic power wheels so you don't blow out gears. 18v drill batteries are amazing for the 12v cars....
