He's one of the absolute best. And the two villains in this novel are two of the best villains of all time when read by Neil Gaiman. Think two-bit street thugs with the gravitas of millenia.

Read it for a course in college. It was a good read. Not my favorite or anything but entertaining and kept my interest. Worth the read if you like the genre.

My favorite Neil Gaiman book. I liked American Gods, Anansi Boys, and could not stomach or finish Good Omens... but this is book is a great story. Very imaginative story telling. Highly recommended.

Cannot recommend this enough. Neil Gaiman is a master of his craft and Neverwhere is one of his best. It was my personal choice as his best work until The Sandman was released as a novel last year....
