I agree with you on the processor side, but a bit reason the computer you mention is so much less is because the screen is a lower resolution. I almost pulled the trigger until i saw that.

Do you really see the difference in performance between this CPU and newer Tiger Lake ones? The things that will make you machine fast are RAM and SSD, which are solid in this laptop. Most consumers...

I bought this on BF and I'm running 32 GB of RAM. No issues.

I have to agree. We got in on the Lenovo yoga with the next gen i5 and cheaper price. Very happy with it.

I have 2-in-1 inspiron 14" 5406 with i7 gen 11. Ram: 2 slots available, just upgraded to 32 gb. Battery: standard is 40 or 42 whr, there is enough place inside to put a 53 whr battery from regular...

Dell's site was acting up. This deal is still valid. Try again now.

Not apples to apples. I bought an 11th generation i5 with 256GB NvME SSD and 8GB RAM for $549 before Amex and RAK discounts. My net was around $400. After reading this thread more, realizing...

I am saying that one should go with the 7000 series (premium build) 14" screen (not covered by the deal in this thread). Don't we both agree on this?

Order code n25406ejuhh (type into search box on dell.com) is the same price as this. You get 4GB less RAM (worth around $20, but you get an empty SODIMM slot so it's easy to add) but around 10%...

Of course most consumers are just fine with the prior-gen, but guess what, most consumers are just fine with a 5-year-old CPU, too, if the computer has an SSD. But if you're going to spend $700 + tax...

HP Envy x360 is probably a bit better than this. But this (like the Envy) is metal, whereas the Flex 5 is plastic, so it will feel more premium.

I'm over 35 days since returning my Dell 5000 series and STILL no refund. It's a bad screen to begin with and on top of that, the 5000 series has Contrast Adaptive Brightness Control that cannot...

Awesome, thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to look at it.
This should go front page soon.
Sweet spot on screen size -- not a little small like 13.3" and not large like 15.6". What's the weight on this?

Thanks for posting. This looked like it might be the one but I chatted with Dell and they said screen is 220 Nits and weight is 3.79 lbs. Too low in NITs and too heavy for me .RAM is upgradable but...

People see "Core i7" for a certain price and assume it's a good deal. It's not, because it's a last-gen processor. The newer Tiger Lake processors are significantly faster. And in general it's rarely...

For anyone confused about how to use the capital one code, after you click on Dell Coupon, don't copy that code to your cart at Dell. Instead, copy the code, than below that code is a button that...

The process is a little confusing - the code you get from Capital One is NOT the coupon code, but a registration code. You put that into Dell's website and THEN you get the actual coupon code. Make...

I do NOT recommend this laptop. Here is why: 1. an i7 in this thin form factor will NOT be cooled enough. i7s are already known to get blazing hot. It only has 1 fan connected to the heat sink. "So...

AFAIK all laptops supporting dual-channel mode will go into flex mode when two different-sized modules (e.g., 4GB + 8GB) are used together. Anyway, in the big scheme of things this just isn't big...

removed - thought this was 1165g7 , sorry!
I wish this was the Dell 14 7000 series rather than the 5000 series. The 7000 series has a much larger screen. If I had any qualms about this, it would be that it is the NOT the 7000 series.

I also hoped this was 7000 that has larger screen
