The thinkpads have the best keyboard IMO, which is a huge feature. The ideapad laptops are ok for budget units. Their desktops and servers are probably my last pick. HP is slightly better for a...

U and H series Processors are Laptop Processors, not Desktop. This is a full fledged Desktop Processor and you can upgrade that too. "T" Series Processors are the lower TDP counterpart of their...

Intel has lost the war, year after year of lack luster upgrades. AMD mini PC is the way to go for tiny pc builds.

One does not simply reduce TDP 2x without any impact on performance. Does that mean lower throttling threshold or what?
Post #145474690 added 02-19-2021 8:06 AM by ngsm13 in Deal Talk
Well, obviously. Lowers base frequency, and maybe boost. Just compare the 2 on Ark.intel website. What I'm getting at, is that if you TDP-down a regular i5-10400 to 35w... You would be at similar...

Can’t find info on the difference between T and H processors. I’ve had terrible experience with U processor, but H works great so far and I’m curious where T sits on the spectrum.
Post #144631789 added 01-14-2021 11:37 AM by lolopolo in Deal Talk
Do you mean compared to H? This is strange because my current H processor is in a laptop - it’s hard to imagine a more constrained space yet they managed to make it work well.
