I've wrapped mine in a Mylar space blanket. Cuts down on the light brightness outside of the unit about 90% and increases the brightness on the plants considerably. Win, win. Just got to watch out...

I found if you freeze those grow plugs 48 hrs no mold. Unfortunately it's in those usually if it shows up tho sometimes it's old (seeds)

Easy to maintain but I feel like the produce have very little flavor. I’m guessing it’s from lack of soil nutrients (eg iron). Cilantro from the store or outside tastes wayyy better. Food for thought.
