op, i would avoid any desk that has such a thin weak surface that it requires metal bracing along the frame. linnmon desk tops are strong enough to suspend on their own without such bracing help.

Honeycomb can not be use with clamp mounting, unless you add plywood for the base. Honeycomb is very sturdy without any mounted stand. I prefer honeycomb due lightness and sturdy-ness
