I think you can also do no-contact "hacking". Set the batteries as ship to store, the saw kit as ship to home. Just never pick up the store ones and they get refunded. Keep the saw kit.

you can return just the batteries or just the saw to the store even though you ordered online. They will refund the portion. I have experienced in similar purchase from home depot.
