I bought the 2k fixed version last week for the same price and its been decent. Using RSTP via blueiris has worked far better than my wyze v2.

Unfortunately I haven't used the sd card for backups. It does allow to record a clip on your phone while viewing the live feed

This is wyze killer camera. It has native homekit support and notifications have no delay, wyze has 12 seconds delay. Wyze puts your video on aws and analyzes and then... lets you know. Very stupid...

you don't need smart hub, you can access it via phone. it does have a "baby cry" alert just for what you need

Yes. It has pet detection and works well. You can also set an activity zone that will play recorded audio if it detects your pet in it. ie bed or couch.

This is an awesome camera for the price!! Never missed a motion and never disconnected. Using RSTP and saving everything onto my Synology using motion eye. No issues so far.
