I had a similar issue, So did my brother and multiple friends. I too don't recall the exact scent but it was one of the blue sticks. I haven't used Old Spice or any brand that is the blue/gel type.

It's the aluminum zirconium in antiperspirants that stain shirts. Deodorant shouldn't. That's why I use this with no stains.

The antiperspirants are the ones with the chemicals in them. Deodorant just masks the smell which is what I use, in the fresh scent I literally bought a two pack at Walmart for $5.56 just yesterday
