no cross bar, so this is almost guaranteed to rock with a couple monitors on desk mounts.

Any drafting chair you find comfortable. They are taller and are perfect for standing desks when you want to take a break from standing. Then there is no need for adjustable desks.

Need to drill the tabletop and secure with screws. Otherwise, it won't be sturdy.

This was the first thing I tried, but it didn't change the problem. The motor (I think) just chirps like it's trying, there's a beep, and every 2 seconds that process repeats. Trying to reset it...

Not really any reason in particular. I'd put it on the floor below it but I have my UPS there so that's why I put it on my desktop.

Yeah, that's my thoughts as well. I had this deal from two years ago but left it with my parents when I moved to California cause I had no room (the desk is huge).

Hi Friends, I saw some reviews said there are pre-drilled holes on the frame. Does anyone know what is the spacing between two holes? Roughly what's the diameter? Can't find those information online.

Been looking at the manual crank version of this for months now. I imagine it should last longer than the electric one? Anyone can confirm? I don’t mind manual crank even if I adjust a few times a day

I have this, AMA. It does shake. It doesn't go down in the exact spot, it does need about 2 inches of wiggle room when coming up and down.

I wouldn't do this personally because I like to alternate my sitting position and sit with my legs stretched out at times which is impossible using a drafting chair.

I bought this regular price in Sept and screwed in a 50lb top from Lowes. Its sturdy, easy to put together, and seems reliable, although I don't use the up and down feature. I wondered when it would...

You also need a table surface. There's no need for your gaming PC to be on the table itself, just get appropriate length cables or extensions, and this sleeving will look nice and combine them into...

Have a full tower PC that's even heavier. Quite logical to keep on ground. Safest thing and if you put it on a nice chrome feet, thick glass monoprice "monitor stand" it will look nice and perform...

Dual motor usually are hidden inside the frame, support more weight, faster. 2 stage column leg usually height range from 27” to 49” while 3 stages column leg from ~24.5” to ~49”

The single motor standing desks jerk a bit when moving. I'm sure it's not great for spinning disks. Probably want a dual motor desk if your intent is to place your PC on it

I'm sure it would be mildly worse on carpet. That just seems logical. I'm on hard floor and it's plenty stable enough for working purposes. We are talking about a desk on only two legs to begin with....
