FWIW: I got this for $28 on Prime Day. With that said, I love it and with RTSP I have it connected to my security server for24/7 local recording.

Just hooked mine up, seems pretty great, through rtsp it records on my Synology NAS as well, didn't even need the SD card. Person detection is good and no monthly fees.
