I would recommend watching some youtube videos on these safes...useless. Please don't use these to store firearms. If kids have access to youtube they can be opened in no time. Use trigger locks.

No safe is water proof so put your stuff in a ZipLock bag and then put the sealed bag into a safe. Next cheapest deal is Walmart. They sell Brinks safes in the $20-$30 range.

Try washing/wiping your safe out with diluted bleach solution (1 cup to 4 cup water). Let it dry. Then use silica packet (that you have heated in oven for 1 hr at 170F).
