I have been using this as shampoo for a number of years, just need a tiny amount. Found the peppermint burns the sensitive skin around your eyes if you're not careful. Use for body wash as well...

Someone else posted to dilute 3:1 (3 parts water, 1 part castile soap).

Last time Walgreens had this, they subbed lavender for the peppermint I ordered without telling or asking me, so buyer beware. I've had to give it out to friends and family. Also, don't use this...

Got six of them. Walked in and they price matched the online price (it was about $6 more in store). Per someone else's post here I mixed about 3 tablespoons with water in a foam dispenser and it...

I don't find the need for that thick of a mixture. Just a few tablespoons of soap mixed with water works well and will last a lot longer.

Thanks OP. I'm in for 6 of the Peppermint. I tried ordering them a few days ago for store pick up but as I was in the process of ordering them it went out of stock at my Walgreens. I tried...

It's should be a couple years worth of soap if you dilute it properly.

Silly question but whats the purpose of the "hemp oil" ? Why not just "almond" scent instead of "hemp oil almond" ?
Does this work for foaming hand soap?

This is castile soap. It is vegetable oil based. Best I can describe it is that it provides good lubrication to remove dirt and grime but not strip away oils from the skin. it is also biodegradable....

I don't think so. Regular soap removes bacteria by trapping it in an emulsification by mechanical action (scrubbing), and then rinsing away. Antibacterial soap has chemicals that kill bacteria...

Hemp oil is supposedly a good moisturizer. Castile soap can be drying to the skin. I don't have that problem. I always go with the peppermint variety. Been using this stuff for years. ...

I think it works really well as a foaming soap. I use Method (Target) bottles and about a 6-8 to 1 ratio water to soap. 3 bottles of this stuff will last me 3 years!
