Try setting local dimming to low. It’s a bug that hopefully will be fixed with a software update.

I currently have the M50q7. My H8g arrives today. I also had the 50 inch TCL S535. The M7 (yeah, I know, only 16 dimming zones) shows noticeable blooming.

The tv is great. I have experienced none of the issues people had here. The ui isn’t even slow and I come from Roku. Airplay and chrome cast both work.
