Good to know. I bought my XM3 over the Bose QCII and Bose 700 because XM3 had way better bass. It's very disappointing to hear XM4 scaled back on one of it's distinguishing features.

I returned mine and went with Bose 700. My colleagues were complaining about muffled/dropped sounds on calls. None with the Bose and Bose connect much quicker to both my devices.
