The deal was pretty much best for router or jigsaw. The drill here is nice, but not their nicest. The impact is not high value and one of their older models.

I have been using a 1/4" screw adapter on an older 1/2" dewalt impact for years. It works great. For me, no reason to have 2 different impacts.

Same here but I had a 15% mover's coupon. My drill kit was $41.45 and DCF890B was $55.36. About $103 after tax. I know this won't last so I ordered at 6AM EST and I picked it up ASAP. :worship:
