The Intel chips decent, and plenty powerful enough for gaming. The 2060 is a much better GPU than a 1660ti and will support features like DLSS. Telling someone to get a 1660ti over a 2060 just...

What about this compared with the Asus TUF TUF506II-IH73 from Costco? $799.99 with probably a better warranty and return policy.

Does anyone know if the second hard drive slot will work with anything more than 2TB?

That is also incorrect. The Max-P starts from 80W and it goes up to 115W with the newer release. The MAX-Q is 65W and it does not have any intermediate values. It is not like that only 115W is...

Had the 17 inch version of this. Really solid device, had good cooling and never ran hot. Display was great and honestly prefer the build quality on this than the newer legion 5.

I know he's talking about the AMD version. My point was, if thermals are not a problem in a laptop design, by ALL accounts of people who own it, why should I care if the Intel version runs hotter,...

Yes. Also, you’re forgetting the difference in refresh rate. 144hz is incredible and extremely noticeable over the 60hz. I would say no if it was just the i7 and RAM, but you’re also getting the...

Post #145252135 added 02-09-2021 8:30 AM by Suryasis in Deal Talk
Not necessarily true. The performance difference between a RTX 2060 and GTX 1660 Ti is very close with RTX or Ray Tracing off. Now RTX 2060 definitely performs better with RT On but that is still too...

How is it fanboyisn, Intel mobile cpus are hot garbage and a 1660ti is like 5% slower than the 2060 , minus RTX features.
