Yeah, I hope so too although I somewhat get where they're coming from as not all 4.0 drives meet their requirements. My bigger concern is that they limit it to just one particular brand or model.

This is an ok deal if you want to get more than 3.5 GB/s sequential read/write (limitation of PCI-E 3.0) provided you have an AMD x570 or upcoming Intel Rocket Lake. Just an FYI, 99% home usage...
