have a stand just like this from aliexpress, any rubber feet or grips are not going to last long with minimal wear. the stand will buckle under weight over time. that hinge will not last.

I have been using this for about a year. Does NOT go limp. I used it for my phone and works great. Can reposition easily. Feels well built heaviness to the metal. Should be able to hold an ipad....

I have a similar one with the same dimensions.. You can't charge while the phone is vertical. Unless I guess if you have a right angle connector But a normal one, NOPE

The one in the link is for phones this one is for tablets. I tried to use a phone stand (similar to the one you mentioned) with a tablet and it doesn't work very well. It's too narrow and unstable.

I got a PowerA brand one of these a year or more ago that was advertised as being made for the switch and is branded with the switch logo, but looks identical to this (notch in bottom for charging)....

The one on ebay is made of of plastic, this one is aluminum. For a phone stand probably doesn't matter as much but for a tablet you definitely need something more robust.

We let our kids video chat on a tablet with relatives during meals. Only time they sit still. It’s like sharing a meal with distanced family. No games or video during meals though.
