I believe ever since series 4, watches of all case materials (both SS and aluminum) use the same ceramic case back (with sapphire for the heart monitor covering).

Got this for $250 back in November, and as others have mentioned, it's an awesome watch; that being said, at $320, I'd recommend stepping up and going for the 40mm SS.
