Tbf Bose refurbished are essentially new (open-box returns) 30% off this price. Also IIRC the $240 was new it required a edu, health, first responder or military code which is quite encompassing.

If you have Sony WH1000XM3 these are pretty much inferior for noise canceling however if you want better audio quality, these are the way to go.
