The sensor is 1/1.8"wbich is why the night vision is great. $100 cams are usually 1/2.8" and so they let a lot less light in. I may have to upgrade some of my cams as I'm not happy with my night...

Having owned a few lorex systems, I would pass. Their systems are ok at best, but when you compare with more affordable systems you quickly realize the price tag does not dictate substantially better...

I would pass on this system. I installed two lorex cameras and had nothing bur aggravation from them. Not so much the cameras but the software that requires you to log into a server located in China....
