I'm not familiar with the XM2s, but these (XM3) have aptX capabilities, so as long as you're using a device that supports aptX, there shouldn't be any lag. There are also bluetooth audio transmitters...

Yeah the design is pretty bad. Like I said, I take good care of all my electronics, (I dont even have a scratch on any of my phones) but the right headband on these XM3's broke after 5 months.

Only if you wanted better ANC Sound Quality is argueably better on the Anker with EQ. ANC is definitely better on the Sony. Bass is way over boosted on both these headphones. I would stay...
