I did not have that reaction at all. I thought the writing was great. It's a very different type of story compared to the fallout games and certainly not as large, but still a ton of fun.

SD videogame threads are bizarre... having lots of dialogue and story shouldn't be a criticism of a story driven RPG. It leans into being quirky and misses sometimes but overall it's well written....

I liked it and think it is easily worth $20. I actually bought the season pass. Sure it is not the best of everything but it has enough good to make it worthwhile.

This is a really good game. A lot of heart and humor. Also this is basically Fallout in space without the typical Bethesda-bugs and low effort dialogue.

Better than Fallout 4 or 76. New Vegas is still better though. I gave the game like an 8 and it's definitely worth it at this price.
