Did you plug yr device into the HDMI 2.0 port just above the DP port? the other two HDMI ports are only 1.4. There won't be any update for 1080p at 144hz. i can assure you that. Yes....

Can't get it to do 4k at 60p only gives me up to 30p at 4k. Do I get a DP cable ? Plugged my chromecast in had to manually turn on HDR to get 4k to come up. I'm just at 1080p right now. Hopefully...

I have a Monoprice 2k monitor from 2013, still running like a champ and I even heard about the deal from slickdeals way back when. Back then they used Apple Screens, probably B-stock and the picture...

Definitely go with 4K as long as your computer can push it. You can always scale it. But even that, the 4K monitors will look sharp.

If you need pro level then don't bother. For regular use, after calibratiion, it's not bad.
