If you are thinking about powering the newer 3000 series card, dont buy C/D tier PSUs such as this. I burnt an EVGA 3060ti with a Thermaltek 500w PSU which was rated 80+ gold, but was a lower tier...

IMHO, If it ain't broke, don't fix it. In my experience, PSUs don't fail spectacularly in spontaneous combustion - they just start to randomly reboot or shut down. I have a couple old school Antecs...

Between 2000 and 2010 I would only buy cheap PSUs but they were always connected to a UPS. I never had one die. My reasoning was that they would die from either heat and/or bad power fluctuations...
