A confined space is a place with limited ingress and egress points like inside of a tank or pressure vessel, not a cramped spot in an engine bay or something.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. I suggested filing down the Allen tail on the bottom, not the hex base. If you get one that fits your impact driver sometimes the little Allen tail prevents it from locking....
