I've found the clear tpu case with corner bumpers to be the grippiest case. And I've tried quite a few for the pixel 4a. At least half a dozen or more.

I had the fabric case on my 2xl. They would wear out. I mean yes the fabric case tend to wear out and start being slippery.

I didn't find them to be too slick. The fabric is nice and textured, so it depends on how firm you hold the phone. If you are use to rubbery cases and rely on the friction with your skin, then these...
