I agree. Using pure alcohol is not good even from a moisturizer perspective. There’s a reason they use Aloe or in this case glycerin. It keeps the hands from drying out and keeps it from evaporating...

If you don't like the smell of alcohol hand sanitizer, then just put some drops of essential oil to cover up the smell. It's fairly normal to have that smell in a 70% alcohol base hand sanitizer.
