I have this light and use it all the time. Mostly automotive work the magnetic base holds great

I used to buy portable led lights for garage work before I realized none of them really put out that much power compared to lighting that plugs into the wall. A 4000 lumen led bulb from menards costs...

Why is the other rover preferable?

was the normal price $89 with the 2.0?
Post #146308148 added 03-29-2021 6:24 AM by TomTerrific in Deal Talk
No, bare tool only @ $89

Yeah...that's because they throw them around like confetti on kit deals, so, like me, most have at least two or three. Many just sell the chargers.

I’m wondering the same. It looks like they both have pros and cons. While the Rover has flexible angles, it can’t point parallel to the surface it’s attached to. OP’s light can, but you have to...

In for one... Ever worked on a travel trailer before at night?

Great deal... but FYI this model has no USB output. Only the 700 lumen Rover does. For my intended use cases that's a deal breaker.

Yea that's what I thought. I've seen it with 2.0 battery before Yep, but Home Depot has had this with 2.0 battery for a while. I thought it was at $89 which person I quoted above confirmed.

Anyone confirm if it comes with charger? Don’t see it listed at Home Depot’s website

Once you get addicted to M12 deals you'll have more chargers than you know what to do with

Got the Rover last week, and since I don’t own any other M12 tools, I had to purchase a M12 charger, which is $60@Home depot, but found it on Amazon for $19

I mostly agree with you. I think part of the cost is for the toughness of the tool. It can withstand 9 ft. drop and is IP54 water resistance rating. The material is for sure more expensive than the...

FWIW, I have this light and it is one of my least used lights. It's not that bright, and its not "small". I grab my $25 Ryobi worklight 9/10. That being said, the magnet on this thing is...

I just bought this light a month ago and it's fantastic. I use it for lighting up my garage when working in dim conditions and I use it when I'm BBQing out late. This is a nice deal especially with...

Stand alone unit without battery: MSRP $89. 482 of these currently available.

Yes, that's what it was last night. I was going to pull the trigger at $89, but said no. Glad I waited.

It wont come with a charger. This is like the Rover deal - they’ll ship both light and battery in same box but are individually packaged in their retail packaging. Also, because of the way they do...

Cheaper, smaller (more portable, easier to fit into tight/awkward spaces), adjustable angle and USB charging.

Like I need another 2.0 battery. I still have 2 brand new in the package.

I have this and also feel the need to mention the LEDs are not all the same color temperature like most budget lights and the CRI is likely VERY high and feels very natural when in use. Much easier...

Rover. Our eyes perceive brightness on a logarithmic curve, not linearly; so it takes a 4x increase in lumens to double the perceived brightness. 700lm to 1000lm is not nearly as big a difference as...

Agreed! In 4 1 also. Really bummed I missed that compact Rover 700lm deal last month. This is a solid deal at this price and a lot easier to move around for projects than a giant flood light with...

It continues to amaze me how inflated the price of these LED work lights are from all of these tool companies relative to their other tool offerings and LED lighting in general. I've been waiting...
