This is def a hot deal, right specs at the right price. Also nice speakers are on the deck, I hate how most laptops aside from MacBooks put them on the bottom edge where it is muffled on any surface...

I think the biggest M.2 2280 NVMe consumer SSD I've seen is 8TB. Of course, by then the storage is worth more than the laptop. ;) Mind, I've actually done something similar years ago. Buy a $500...

That is the maximum what Lenovo sells it with. You can add a 4TB as well if you have one.

It does not even have the same CPU. That has Ryzen 5 4500U 6 Core with VEGA 6 Graphics and this one has Ryzen 7 4700U 8 Core with VEGA & graphics.

Which line of Thinkpad...They range from 450$ to $5000. Unless you specify the series you're comparing with. And build quality vs durability are two different things. This has better build than most...

Picked this up on Ebay for $560 open-box a few weeks ago. Other than the screen colors and the keyboard feels a little cramped to me it's a great laptop.

As long as storage is not soldered and higher capacities are available for the slot/socket, then sure you can upgrade. The specs on the Lenovo page just list the available factory configurations.
