Kayaking in the dark. Need front and rear lights and no need to worry if they fall in the water. Have a few 360 degree lights as well. But the more I light up my kayak the less likely a boat runs...

Reported as 80 lumens. On the lower side these days, but it's also $5 and the floating aspect, might work for your needs if that's important to you. It'll be bright to you if you are used to bulb...

I'd be worried about giant alligators and piranhas in the water that you can't see clearly because of the dark. Pretty sure I saw that in a horror movie or two before.

Ah yes, typical chineiusm garbage led light. Save yourself the wasted time and just get an incan/xenon 3-4 cell D maglite.

and the old version was only $3.29 so how is this a deal. Not a particularly bright light, not sure why the reflector design is made to look larger than the smaller reflector inside either.

I bought 2 of these about a year ago even cheaper. These lantern type lights are nothing like the old days. I wouldn't waste the few bucks on them. Led flashlights blow these away for a dollar...
