5/16 and 1/4 are the most common size for screws in the hvac world. For most 9/16 head screws you most likely won't be able to break them loose or torque them properly with a driver like this.

Imma guess if you need anything 9/16" you're more than likely either gonna need a wrench or a socket. You can only get so much torque out of a nut driver.

I have little or no uses for a 9/16" nut driver. Better to purchase a 1/2" - 9/16" open-end wrench if you are working on SAE equipment.
